Marvel at the beach which is in the center of the bay and is beautifully equipped and maintained all year round. It is of fine golden sand and surrounded by cliffs jutting out into the sea and scented by the Mediterranean scrub. Between Punta Rospo, to the east and Punta Moneglia, to the west, and beyond to Punta Manara, you will discover cliffs that descend into the sea like vertical blades concealing hidden coves.

Moneglia is history: as early as 1537 a chronicle defines it as "Antica Monilia" - from the Latin "precious jewels" - in reference to the particular richness of the vegetation with fruits compared to jewels.

An example of beauty of unique rarity is its medieval caruggio which cuts the center in two, between tall houses with colored facades and Renaissance portals in carved slate: via Vittorio Emanuele, in fact, is Moneglia's parlour, where it is nice to stroll after having left the beach, browsing and buying in the shops that enliven the street.
